We will attempt to issue a refund or exchange for any item purchased from the VanLife MTL website upon presentation of the original receipt sent at the time of purchase.

What is VanLife MTL’s return policy?

Items in their original unopened and un-torn packaging, accompanied by a receipt, and returned within 30 days of the date of purchase will be subject to a refund applied to the original method of payment or an exchange. Items that are opened, damaged, or not in a condition to be resold may not be eligible for a refund or exchange. A valid ID may be required.

Where can I return or exchange an item I purchased online?

Items can only be returned or exchanged at the VanLife MTL office, located at 2716 rue Lapierre, LaSalle, within 30 days of the date of purchase.

Exchanges

Are there any exceptions to the return policy?

There are a few exceptions to our return policy:

  • Returns, exchanges or warranties on an item without a receipt may not be accepted.
  • A defective item that is subject to the manufacturer’s warranty could be repaired or replaced (delays vary).
  • Electronic devices for cars (ex: rear view cameras, code readers, Bluetooth, car radios, GPS, inverters, etc.) can only be returned within 14 days of the date of purchase. All other rules apply.
  • The parts and products in pre-order are in no case refundable or exchangeable. With the exception of a defective product reported within 14 days of the date of purchase. In such a case, the part or product will be subject to the manufacturer’s warranty and could be repaired or replaced (delays vary). All other rules apply.
  • Shipping charges are not refundable.
  • Refunds and exchanges made by mail are authorized only after authorization from the company, shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Are there other items that cannot be returned?

Certain items purchased on the VanLife MTL Online Shop are not refundable or exchangeable:

  • Gift certificates
  • Any item not found on the Online Store (i.e. special orders, accessories / custom-ordered products, etc.)
  • Cut or modified items
  • Clearance or final sale items

Items sold by VanLife MTL are covered by a warranty.

We guarantee our items. If a product is defective, the manufacturer’s warranty is applicable. We provide a one-year warranty on most items for which no warranty is specified.
